Turned Parts
Flühs manufactures various types of turned parts that are mostly used in sanitary engineering, electrical engineering and the automotive industry. These include long turned parts, short turned parts, automatic turned parts, precision turned parts and CNC turned parts, which we manufacture from high-quality stainless steel, brass, silicon bronze and gunmetal.
CNC Turned Parts
CNC turned parts are precision turned parts that are manufactured on computer-controlled automatic lathes (CNC lathes). Examples of CNC turned parts are special connecting elements, contacts, contact pins or union nuts, nipples and special screws in large quantities, which are produced in series. Flühs is able to economically produce high-quality turned parts of any size on automatic lathes.
Short Turned Parts
Short turned parts are turned parts with a ratio between length and diameter of almost 1:1 and a maximum ratio of 4:1. Widely used short turned parts include union nuts, special screws, banjo bolts and sealing seats for sanitary engineering and the sanitary industry. We manufacture durable short turned parts on mechanical cam-controlled lathes or CNC automatic lathes in small, medium and large series.
Long Turned Parts
Long turned parts are rotationally symmetrical, narrow turned parts with a ratio of length to diameter of at least 3:1. Frequently used long turned parts include spindles, pipes, sleeves, thrust pieces, threaded pins and bolts. We manufacture long turned parts using special CNC long turning machines that can handle any quantity while maintaining the highest quality.
Precision Turned Parts
Precision turned parts are turned parts with complex geometries and small diameters that are primarily used in control and measurement technology as well as in medical technology. We manufacture complex turned parts in a single machining process on flexible turning centers with 360° machining capability, which are mostly used for small and medium-sized quantities.
Customized Turned Parts
Individual turned parts are customized turned parts that require high precision in small to large quantities. Thanks to CNC-controlled multi-spindle and single-spindle automatic lathes, we are able to offer flexible production of individual turned parts that meet the most demanding customer requirements.

Heating Valves
Heating valves regulate heating-water flow and temperature in heating systems. We offer high-performance valves, including models with shut-off function, enabling precise temperature control.

Plumbing valves control and regulate flow in sanitary installations, including ball valves, shut-off valves, diaphragm valves, bellows-sealed valves, and plug valves. Flühs valve technology for water-flow control in sanitary systems is market-leading worldwide.
Surface Finishing of Turned Parts
After series production, Flühs offers precision turning, diamond turning and diamond finishing as surface treatments, as well as electroplating, powder coating and PVD coating.

Since our founding in 1926, we have steadily expanded to a production area of 20,000 m². Compared to 1926, our number of employees has increased a hundredfold: from 4 to 400 in less than 100 years. Professional expertise and a modern machine park with around 130 CNC and cam-controlled lathes produce precisely manufactured products in small to large series, the quality of which has established itself on the world market in more than 50 countries.
Our recipe for success remains unchanged: high-quality materials, precise state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and an in-house quality management system based on DIN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Over 200 patents are the result of our power to innovate, which has been with us for around a century. Flühs is a recognized training company for technical professions with diverse specializations.
